

Albion Hills Conservation Area
Location: Albion Hills is located in Bolton, Ontario. From the town of Newmarket, take highway 9 West. Once you reach highway 50 head south for about 4 km and then turn right into Albion Hills Conservation area. Park at the chalet parking. All the trails start at the chalet.
Facilities: There are several race facilities as well as camping. There are camp sites for both tents and RV's. For mountain biking there is a bike wash, showers, restrooms and parking. There is also a small convenience store where you can purchase maps for the mountain bike trails. You can download your own map of the trails for free online.
Cost: $6.00 for the day, $75.00 for the season
Trail Description: There are several different trail networks. The orange and yellow trails are the easier trails with a lot of double tracks. The red trail has many technical sections to it. The best choice for advanced riders is the black trail. This trail is quite long and has many technical sections to it. There are several long climbs and many climbs throughout this trail. The technical sections are challenging but do not have any man made obstacles. The trail surface is hard packed which makes it very fast. The speed combined with all the switch backs and climbs make for an exciting ride. Albion Hills conservation area is very large and riders do tend to get lost and confused. If you stick to the trail markers, you will loop back to the chalet parking lot where you started.
