Trail Description: There are several trails at this amazing facility. There are trails for all levels of riders. The trails are very well indicated and the level of difficulty is indicated on the sign before entering the trail. There is a direction to ride each trail. Enter the trail where there is a sign. If you see a trail without a sign this is an exit. The difficult trails are very technical. Anyone who thinks they are an expert mountain biker is in for a surprise. The trails have a lot of roots, exposed rock, and are very twisty. The trails are well layed out and there is a lot of flow to them. If single track is your things you've come to the right place. There are areas where there are sections of exposed granite, where the trail goes up these raw pieces of rock and falling can be a painful mistake. On these pieces of granite you have to have either enough speed or power to get up it. All the trails are very well cared for by a trail crew. Mike the owner is in the parking lot where he greets you and explains the trail system. My only complaint is that these trails are quite short and you must link up as many trails as possible to get a good cardio workout. Do not let this be a reason to bypass Buckwallow cycling center because these trails pack more punch in a few hundred meters than many longer trails do.
