Location: Holiday Valley Resort. Trail begins at the Mountain Sports Center.

Driving Directions: Take the Peace Bridge to New York State, get on 190 south to Interstate 90 west. Get off at exit 55 to Rt. 219 south, 50 miles to Ellicottville, then one mile farther south to Holiday Valley. Turn right at Holiday Valley Road, go .75 miles and turn left to the Mountain Sports Center.

Facilities: Parking, bike wash at the Holiday Valley Mt. Sports Center. Holiday Valley has a restaurant, coffee shop, golf course, pools (summer) lodging, spa and a lake at the top of the mountain. The village of Ellicottville (1 mile) has a bike shop, many shops, restaurants and bars.

Trail Description: The trails in Ellicottevlle New York are certified as an IMBA Epic Ride. There are over 35 miles/56 Km. of trails that you can shred on this trail system. You can access the trails from a variety of points, but the two easiest points to find are probably from the parking lot of McCarty Hill State Forest or The Holliday Valley Mt. Sports Center. If you do choose to start at the Holiday Valley Resort Mt. Sports Center, you will start on the race loop, to access the race loop simply turn left on the trail that runs under the chair lift at the Mt. Sports Center. The race loop is about 4.5 miles of 700 feet vertical uphill, singletrack and downhill, and it connects to many miles of trails maintained by Western New York Mountain Biking Association. The trails are very well maintained by local bike clubs and tend to be quite well marked. Through out the trail system you will find trail markers and maps which help you on your way.
