Driving Directions: The trail starts in the little village of Mollepata in Cusco. First 4 to 5 hours is climbinb part on you mountain bike and part hiking. Bikes can go on horses and mules though.

| This is by far one of the most amazing trails on earth for mountain biking. From the start at 4,644m you feel that you are on top of the world surrounded by huge glaciers, the air is cold, thin and dry. After a couple of hours descending to the jungle you start to feel that characteristic humid smell of the ground and the air gets thicker and warmer. At the end of the trail you are deep into the Amazon Jungle, very close to Machu Picchu covered by lush vegetation and surrounded by numerous parrots, tucans and other animals. |
