Trail Description: This is a great trail. It has a little something for all riders. It is very flat so no real climbs. There are some technical sections that expert riders will enjoy. This ride is made up of several loops in a small area. It is a little confusing at first but you eventually get a hang of it. It is a small area so no real fear of getting lost. You can connect the trails together at get a good 15 km network out of it. There is a main parking lot on McCowan but there is another lot on Ravenshoe Road just West of McCowan. On the weekend it gets quite busy with trails users of all kinds. Please be friendly to all trail users. Most of these trails are sandy base so they are usually dry even after a large rainfall.
Rating: 7 out of 10
Posted Comments: Great trail system. It takes about 2.5-3 hours to complete the system. Pink trail is quite challenging day after a rainstorm (be prepared to get dirty). Beware of seasonal mosquitoes, it can be unbearable at times, especially during the late summer and early fall periods.
