TWO NEW TRAILS IN THE LOWER PARK
Blueseum is an intermediate trail in the old Smoke & Mirrors zone, a flowing singletrack with fun rock rolls. Wednesday Night Delight is an intermediate freeride trail below Blueseum off B–Line. Offering several options for drops and small jumps, it's a great skill builder trail. The Olympic Skills Park has new features for honing trail skills including cornering, drops, jumps and skinnies. Millionth Rider
1,000,000th BIKE PARK RIDER
The Millionth rider to the Whistler Mountain Bike Park came through the line on Friday August 12 with a celebration at Fitzsimmons chairlift hosted by biking legend Brett Tippie. It is the first Bike Park in the world to reach this feat and here's a video to recap what went down. Watch video
Garbanzo Garbanzo Zone Update
Blue Velvet and Freight Train are getting the machine treatment with some new features being added at the same time. In Deep received a lot of new armor work for Crankworx and has much improved lines for the hardcore riders. No Joke and Goats Gully are open and riding well with the continued tacky conditions. Air Dome
The Airdome remains open for 11–2pm and 5–8pm sessions for public. Come check out the place that Brandon Semenuk, 2011 Slopestyle Champ, and Benny Phillips, Teva Best Trick winner, call home. They may even be in the house to share some tips if you are lucky. Schedule
