Just over a week ago, SCOTT11 rider Brendan Fairclough contested the Dual Slalom, Speed & Style and Downhill events at the annual Sea Otter Classic. Here’s a little video recap of Brendan’s performance at the event:

While Brendan will admit that the Sea Otter course doesn’t suit his strengths, he’s still showing good form and will be a force on the World Cup DH circuit this season. The Sea Otter DH course tends not to be overly demanding, so Brendan opted for a 4X Voltage FR setup that worked for both the Dual Slalom and the DH.
“We brought Brendan to the Sea Otter so he could continue testing his prototype DH bike, and so that he can network with all of the US media,” said Adrian Montgomery. “He has quite a fan base here and with his likeability and style it makes sense to bring him over. Plus we’re still shooting video with him that will be released throughout the Summer. I’m stoked to have him on the Team.”
The Voltage FR is a very versatile bike with options for short travel using air shocks, or a longer travel coilover setup. From Park to Play, this bike gets it done.
