Description Of The Product: This tire is intended for trail riding is a variety of conditions. It is available in both tubeless and conventional designs. For this test we are testing the conventional tire and are running tubes. The tire has a kevlar folding bead which makes it easier to put on the rim. The Nevegal is available in two different types of rubber compounds; the STICK-E and the Dual Tread Compound. The STICK-E compound is a softer compound that has a better grip on surfaces especially when they are wet. The only draw back of the STICK-E compound is that is tends to wear faster. We have decided to test the Dual Tread Compound which has a regular compound in the middle of the tread pattern and the STICK-E compound on the side of the tire. The Dual Tread Compound tire tends to wear at a lower rate than the STICK-E compound. Both of these tire compounds share the same tread pattern.

Our Thoughts: With so many different tires out there, it's difficult to find a do it all trail tire. If that is what you are looking for, look no further than the Kenda Nevegal. Sure, it's not the fastest tire out there if you are a XC racer, and it's not a burly downhill tire either, it's an all purpose, all condition tire for trail riding that excels on a variety of trail conditions. Whether you are on wet or dry trails, rocky or rooty ones, you always have traction with the Kenda Nevegals. If you do tend to ride regularly on wet slick trails, go with the STICK-E compound you'll have more grip. If you don't want to change your tires for different riding conditions, and want a do it all trail tire, pick up a set of Kenda Nevegals. The rating for these tires is 10 out of 10 what more can we say, they rock!
